Rhubarb Press was incorporated in August 2025 as a small family-run publishing house with a singular mission: to give hitherto unknown authors a voice in an increasingly crowded literary landscape. Born from a deep love of storytelling and a belief that exceptional narratives can emerge from the most unexpected places, we set out to champion writers whose voices might otherwise go unheard.
Our first and main imprint focuses on Cosy Crime, a genre particularly close to our hearts. There's something uniquely British about the cosy mystery tradition—those intimate, character-driven stories where the puzzle matters as much as the people solving it. We believe this genre offers the perfect canvas for new voices to explore human nature, community dynamics, and the timeless appeal of justice served with a cup of tea.
Formed in London with deep roots stretching to Peckham, Cleethorpes, and Dundee, Rhubarb Press embodies a uniquely diverse British perspective.
